A Message from NACVSO President - August 2025

Greetings NACVSO Members and Strategic Partners,

As August draws to a close, I want to thank each of you—members, staff, and partners—for your support and continued passion for NACVSO’s mission. This month marked my first in office as President, and I am proud have a front-row seat in witnessing the professionalism, passion, and clarity of purpose that define this organization.

Over the past two years, NACVSO has experienced significant growth in influence and capacity. That progress didn’t happen by accident. It came from steady leadership and the collective strength of our members and leaders working across the board for the betterment of veterans.

Now, we are on the cusp of realizing many of the goals we have worked toward together—goals that will further professionalize the CVSO role, expand our reach, and reinforce the value of accredited service officers in the veterans’ support ecosystem. But reaching that next milestone will take more than momentum. It is incumbent on us to tend to the machinery that will keep the organization moving forward with thoughtful purpose.

In other words, eyes on the prize.

In the coming weeks, NACVSO will share important updates and new initiatives that will shape the months ahead so be on the lookout, both on the website and your email inboxes. I need you to stay informed, participate, and lead where you are.

The future is promising—but it’s not promised. It’s something we must earn together.
