Advanced Appeals Course
Registration will open on July 1, 2024.
The course is intended for NACVSO-accredited Governmental Veteran Service Officers (GVSOs) who are interested in obtaining an advanced level of understanding of the appeals process in order to represent veterans before the Board of Veterans Appeals, as well as those whose experience with the appeals process pre-dates the implementation of the Appeals Modernization Act (AMA) in 2019. It is more important than ever that GVSOs are prepared to navigate the VA’s appeals process so they can best serve the veterans in their community. One year of GVSO experience is preferred and membership dues must be paid. Advanced Appeals is a virtual course.
