Professional Bio

Chris Clark serves as a Veteran Services Specialist with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, bringing a wealth of personal and professional experience to his role. He retired from the PA Army National Guard in 2020 as a Sergeant Major after 29 years of distinguished service, including deployments in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Joint Guardian in Kosovo.

A combat-wounded veteran, Mr. Clark is a recipient of the Purple Heart for wounds sustained in the Al-Anbar province of Iraq in 2006. His military awards also include the Bronze Star Medal, the Legion of Merit, the Combat Infantryman Badge, the Order of Saint Maurice, the Order of Saint George, and the Order of Saint Barbara.

During his military career, he served as an infantryman, cavalry scout, and recruiter. Additionally, Mr. Clark served as a suicide intervention officer and casualty assistance officer during his Army service. His prior work experiences include roles in law enforcement and corrections. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from American Military University.

Mr. Clark remains deeply committed to the veteran community. He is the facilitator for the "Together With Veterans - Greene County" group and serves as the Veterans Committee Chair for the PA Society of the Sons of the American Revolution. He is also a lifelong member of the American Legion-Post Service Officer, Post 416, Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), Disabled American Veterans (DAV), Military Order of the Purple Heart (MOPH), 28th Division Association, and the National Infantry Association.
