Emily Hackler

I have always had a special place in my heart for helping others when they are in need. I graduated from Western Illinois University in 2020 and I started my career working in foster care and helping provide permanency to children and help to parents who were struggling. My journey has led me to now serving as a Veterans Service Officer for the Lasalle County VAC, and I could not be more excited. I have multiple family members who have served, both past and present. I am excited to get to know more about the military and get to know and serve all of our veterans. I am an animal mom to 5 cats and 2 dogs. I love to go on hikes with the dogs, and travel when I can. One of my favorite places to visit is Colorado, with my dogs.
