Registration is now open for two NACVSO’s
Advanced Appeals Courses in 2021

Registration is now open for NACVSO’s Advanced Appeals live-virtual training course delivered by NACVSO appeals and legal experts. The course is intended for County Veteran Service Officers (CVSOs) who are interested in obtaining an advanced level of understanding of the appeals process in order to represent veterans before the Board of Veterans Appeals, as well as CVSOs whose experience with the appeals process pre-dates the implementation of the Appeals Modernization Act (AMA) in 2019. The AMA and the movement to virtual hearings driven by the COVID-19 pandemic, it is more important than ever that CVSOs are prepared to navigate the VA’s appeals process so they can best serve the veterans in their community.

Course dates: (you will be prompted to select a date during the payment process)

  • April 12 – 14, 2021 (registration closes end of day on April 8, 2021)
  • October 25-27, 2021 (registration closes 1 week prior to course start)

Cost: $250 for members in good standing (2021 Membership Paid).
